Thread: What do you guys think of Matrix Double Strength Encapsulant?

Good Evening guys, I am thinking of giving this product a try. I was just wondering if any of you guys have had any experience with this product. I tried Release It (sample bottle) and didn't have good results, I then tried EncapuClean O2 and liked the results it gave me. I want to hear your thoughts on this.

Matrix is good for not so dirty carpets. Do your self a favor and t some realisit ds, this is what you use for dirty carpet that is glued down

You might need to mix stronger with realisit ds ,The matrix is afordable ....

You might try Surround from Bonnet Pro
I've had great results with it.

when mixing releasit ds shake the sprayer and don't allow dwell time it will foam up nice and bingo it looks awesome!!!!

LOL Miguel needs far more experience, jobs average out more over longer periods of time.So he needs 100, 300 jobs then make that statement
Hard to judge a product or equipment on a sample, jobs fail sometimes because of other factors then the cleaning product

I clean carpets for a living, I think I can tell when a product works and when one doesn't. Wow, you would really waste your time and money on a product for a 100 or 300 jobs to determine if it gives results or not? That reminds me of the "sunk cost theory." Also, to be fair I used both chemicals on the same carpet, and I had already stated that I used the sample bottle not Release It DS which everyone has recommended me. I will give it a try and see what results I get.

Apparently not, Releasit DS is expensive thats why people go to other vendors. Not because of failure.It is the best product but the competitors have come alot closer now for less money

Encap does not work in every situtation,has nothing to do with DS, so yes you need more experince with the product to know which jobs it works in

Well apparently you did not read my first post, I know encap doesn't work in every situation. However, it did in that situation its just that Realease It didn't and Encapuclean did. It's ok, my favorite product doesn't work all the time but I still like it. Also, we are in business and if there is a product that does the same or better than another and is cheaper, you bet I'm gonna go get it and I think most of us would. If you love release it that much and I hurt your feelings sorry but I just say the truth.

Dont worry I do not own the company, each product has different results based on how it is mixed,how hot water is, how you apply it Etc, etc. My point is simple you need to use a product many many times to eliminate error and make sure it is product and not you.

Alright, thanks for the advice Shane, you do make a good point with what you are saying. I will keep it in mind for the future.

Ultimately, i think jondon/interlink is the same . You may like 1 particular product over another but they are pretty close. I went to jondon for SFS and interlink for 3 iicrc classes both were fine and have purchased from both with no complaints.

Now some of us like premium products like releaseit,betco best,butlers, judson{never used but heard good things} but we are only 5% of the buyers and everyone can decide for themselves, personally am just really picky about that stuff.
