I took the truck out yesterday alone for a quick empty house squeeze-in job. Most of the carpet jobs have been getting done by my tech now, but dammit I'm jealous he gets to use this "showtruck" out there while I stay at the shop and rub cars! I wanna use the shiny new truckmount! wah!
New policy! I'm doing 1 job a day, he can do the rest and while Im out with the truck he can rub cars!
Oh, btw I have had ZERO issues with the hose reel being set back. It gives me more room in the truck and I'm still in plenty good enough shape to take the one step up into the truck to wind the hose reel. Unwinding is no problem, I dont need to step up into the truck it is easily reached.Last edited by Richard Baldwin; 08-31-2010 at 07:52 PM.

Richard that is a very nice set-up. Makes me rethink getting a box truck instead of the sprinter. I am not getting the american cheapo I am getting the mercedes one. Better everything. But I am not really sold on interior space. they are narrower than the econolines but alot taller.
hurry up and go make some money for the wraps. and post updates soon

Although it looks like it, the size of this truck is no wider than a regular van, and only a few feet longer. and of course a few feet taller, but no wider, I go through the drive-thru's with it all the time with no problem.
