Where is bio-hazardous waste actually disposed of? When a tragedy occurs and the fluid soaked material is removed from the scene, where is it actually taken and disposed of? I would guess it is burned at a very high temperature.

Depends upon the specific type of waste and local regulations. Sometimes you can double bag it in red bio-hazard bags. Other times it needs to go to an incinerator. It may need to go to a designated hazardous waste landfill and be transported by company with a license for hauling hazardous waste.
