I loved using my Cimex on the large job that I purchased it for. It was very fast and carpet looked great, although it wasn't that bad to begin with. I'd like to use the Cimex more as I build the commercial side of my business but I want to make sure I understand when the Cimex is an appropriate choice.

I'm thinking that it is best used on CGD that isn't trashed and once in a while HWE those repeating CGD accounts. Am I right?

Also, I am a little unsure about using it for my monthly and quarterly restaurant accounts. Should these be strictly HWE or some Cimex / HWE combo?

Any advice and comments that point me in the right direction with this are appreciated. :hi:

Kenny, I dont own the mex but do use OP.

I have some commercial accounts with low foot traffic, some with a lot and one or two with greasy pit carpets.

I 'flush' the last one every 3rd cleaning.

Once you flush one you'll know better what the cycle should be.
aint gonna be the same on all of em.

Heck, the guys at padderland never flush.

I think the Cimex is awesome for large CGD that is moderately dirty. It is so fast and easy. We have some offices we encap with the Cimex every quarter. We plan to HWE these accounts yearly.

For restaurants and other heavily soiled accounts, I think HWE is the way to go.

    Mind if I hijack?

Matt, if the grease pits are flushed really good, what are your thoughts on occasional padding?

I think it can be done so long as the padding/bonnett is done frequently enough. It just really depends on the account though.

WE cimex restaurants but you need extra dry passes. then once a year after Christmas we cimex & HWE.

Cimex is an awesome scrubber no matter what you use in the tank, even use your favorite prespray then flush!

The Cimex is a super efficient Scrubber, why not use it on every job? If you are going to HWE use it to apply you presray like mentioned above.
You might be surprised what the machine can do if you mix the Encap Clean DS @ 8oz per gallon! The best way to do a restoration cleaning is to use HWE!

You likely can Cimex your restaurants most months. I would suggest HWE a couple of times per year.

Since Drew is plugging his product, (which BTW give fine results) I will also mention Bridgepoint's new Encapuclean Green Double Strength. The normal dilution is 4 ounces per gallon, but can be used at 8 ounces per gallon for heavy soils.
