Whats the best pad for this floor?

    Engineered wood floor with radiant heat - 10x14 rug - whats the best pad to use here - no rubber from what I understand. machine made high end oriental style wool rug.

    Sorry - what is the correct pad to use on this floor. I am pretty sure you can't use rubber on the radiant heat floor.

    Wow... that is a really good question. I would give No Muv in Jacksonville FL a call on this one. They make Durahold. They might tell you Durahold (which is approved by the National Wood Floor Association) - but perhaps to REVERSE it so the rubber side is up instead of down. I don't know though... it may be the heat is not an issue... but I'd call them on their product. They make the best rug pads, 10 year warranty.

    Thanks Lisa - I will give them a call. I remember working in this house when it was first built - it was winter and these floors get pretty warm! I could see it being an issue with some pads!
