I have a late 90's Prochem Legend with about 3300 hours on it. It's been dripping some water out the front of it for a while now. I've done a pretty good upkeep of taking care of this machine. should I be worried?:AddEmoticons04259:

Yes you are probably worried for good reason. Water leakage is a sign of premature cracks (freezing temps even for short periods can lead to hairline cracks) that will eventually lead to failure. It could go on a ways like this but I would certainly look for a back up before cold weather hits and you have a complete failure.

Legend HXs also have a SS brace in them that is tacked to the inside of the coil. They break loose and can rub on the coil by vibration. The tech at Johndon showed me this brace when mine was replaced and said that they have since been modified.

Well, it's been leaking for some time now, but I'm just starting to get worried. should I fork out the money to buy the original part or save half price and get something like this on ebay (Axis Point TM Heat Exchanger). any input would definitely help
