I have performed all the services on the list. However, our company never promoted tile cleaning / sealing or power washing. I also did flooring inspections. This required some study and tools, but added nicely to the bottom line. It was busy even in winter when residential cleaning slowed down. In some areas of the country, there is still a large need for this service. Other areas are over-saturated and price cutting just like carpet cleaners.

Jason, I listed Other, and I do anything that makes money. I offer a service called Rent Ready Cleanings for my customers and basicly its what ever I need to do to get the property ready for the next tenant or for sale. I will haul junk that is left behind, do repairs, fix holes in walls, remodel bathrooms, build walls and put in doors, painting, put in new lights, and anything else thay may want done besides carpet cleaning. here are a few videos of a property I did last winter. That one looks in good shape compared to some that have come our way Tim. We have had some that food has been sitting out for who knows how long, poop on walls, rats mold ect. You cant beleive how some people live. We dont restore them we do trash-outs,winterization,handyman,landscaping,re-keys ect. Most foreclosers. Good extra money but sometimes you wonder if its worth it when you walk in.
You are right Chris, that place was bad, but I have seen alot worse. The sad thing about it was when the tenants moved in less than one year prior, I had re painted the place, and I had to paint it again after they left because every wall and door from three feet and below had crayon, marker, pencil and who knows what else.

I hope to expand and have a general cleaning crew in the furture. I like the general cleaning because typically you have customers on a monthly cleaning schedule at the very least. Makes for a more steady income.
