What portable extractor have you ever used?

We started our business with an Esteam Ninja. Although we have literally replaced every single working part in the machine, the housing and electrical/plumbing are all still original, most of the breakdowns were caused by lack of proper maintenance knowledge which even the supplier and manufacturer were unable to provide.
The Ninja is a good workhorse and we still use it today, five years later for inplant and vehicle detailing work. The ninja we got cost us over $5000 and stand alone probably has made us over $250000

That is not a bad real return you have on that machine Richard, but the US guys must marvel at the high price we pay for Ninja's in Canada. In the USA it is rare to pay even $3000 for a Ninja no matter how well equipped.

The only portable I used before I got my Mytee M-5 was my bosses old Mytee Speedster which was 100 psi and I think 1- 2 stage vac....it's old!!!

Mine was the most expensive version of a Ninja at the time tho. 500psi with dual three stage vacs. Mind you, they call it 500psi but once you squeeze the wand trigger it drops to 200 lol.

I've used an Olympus and was not very impressed. I am very happy with the Recoil 3XPS.

out of all the machines i've used in 35yrs, i like the ninja's the best due to the simplicity of the machine, and the reliability, yet, they are/were the weakest of the bunch. right behind the ninja is kleenrite with thier impeccable quality, great performance, and durability.

the strongest, based on reliability is the eclipse but a real bear to work on.

for all out performance, timbucktoo made a machine called the oddessey quad. incredible vacuum power, heated tank, and 500psi, all housed in a fiberglass body at 250lbs. a real monster of a back breaker, and a breaker popping beast!

I really like the 17 gallon machines with dual 3 stage vacs. I can do a lot compared to my 40L Ninja.
