I have a Prochem Peak with just under 2000 hours on it and the water all of the sudden just doesnt get very hot. In fact it is basically lupe warm. The temperature gauge doesn't show the water getting hotter than 140 degrees(which is the minimum). I am just wondering if it may be that the gauge is defective.Help me!!!!

Can you touch the brass fittings? Are they really hot. If not do a descaling. Are you running a water softener? Descaling instructions should be in your owners manual. Also check the temp relief valve at the water box. Make sure it's not stuck open. I think it's cleanable. Hope this helps

Possible thermostat malfunctioning Are you using High flow? You will get lower heat levels.
Bleed your HE's. Anti-freeze below the required level will cause low heat from them.
Runnin lower RPMs gives lower heat levels.
    Good advice above also.
    Did u get it fixed?

make sure your flow simulator's not stuck open. plenty of coolant. Bleed Heli coil, descale, check the thermal relief from the water box, no clogged hx's , proper rpm. to check your gauge, just ground the sendor's post.- if the gauge pegs , it works, and the fact that you get a reading at all probably means the sendor is find, - you can use an IR to read the temp at that point to make sure though. Make sure your thermostat in its housing on top isn't stuck open.
