    Blueline thermowave 5m truckmount I believe should show Vacuum of 12/14 but now shows 8 inches. I don't notice loss of suction so what can I use to test to determine if the guage if off or the unit needs rebuilding. Has anyone attemped to re build a 5M Vacuum blower (Gardner Denver 5M Blower 525 CFM)

    You need a secondary guage to determine if its just a small leak coming the line on the gauge to the vac relief. A secondary guage that also plugs the vac inlet hole. I plumb a guage onto a rubber stopper i found that fits perfectly inside the vac inlet. Something cone shaped works good. I have use a hockey puck with a hole drilled into it and that worked also. Once you get your testing guage working you can then begin to diagnose where any leaks may be if any. Never adjust the vac relief unless you 110% sure that is the issue. 9x out of 10 its not the vac releif as the culprit.

    Check your belts and such first. Seriously doubt it is your blower. Heck I dumped all my relief valves a long time ago and went free flow or Kunkle valves. Then buy yourself a gauge and hook it up to the front of the machine. Look how I did it in my video;
