I have used pet zone exclusively and never had a problem till recently which I am sure is something I did in the process. Granted I am one year into the biz but I need to know how I can resolve the following problem. I mixed Pet Zone as always and poured onto affected area and tamp in with my foot. Let settle for 30 minutes and extract with spot water claw. Two days later I get a call that the stain is bigger and worse. I go back out and the spot has wicked out larger and is dark like a water stains? Any suggestions? There is still some moisture in the center of the pad so I am assuming the dry time is taking longer but this has never been a problem in the past. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
It sounds as if the vacuum was not sufficient to remove enough moisture. There could be many possible reasons that the mositure was not removed. BUt if the padding is still damp, you need to get it dry. If the affected area is near a corner or otherwise easy tog et to, you could turn disinegage the carpet from the tackless strip (use an awl and knee kicker); turn back the carpet and dry or repalce the wet pad. Otherwise, use air movers to help speed the drying. Make sure to control the temperature and humidity as best as you can to make for good drying conditions. Once the pad is completely dry, bonnet clean the area using Encapuclean Green DS or other encapsulating method. If you don't have a rotary or OP machine, you can just spray the area with Encapuguard and work it into the face yarns with clean white cotton towel. Repeat until the towel is not picking up any soil.
