This is a official Press Release:

An exclusive collection with Swarovski-Crystals and a 24-carat gold plated cork mosaic flooring headline the latest high-end carpeting and flooring products on display at DOMOTEX Middle East 2008, the only dedicated carpets and floor coverings exhibition in the Middle East and North Africa region, being held from May 25 - 27, 2008, at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The crystal and gold products will be exhibited in the ‘Designers Corner’; an initiative jointly organized by the Association of Professional Interior Designers, the American University in Dubai’s Department of Interior Design, and Deutsche Messe - organizers of the entire DOMOTEX 2008 exhibition.

“DOMOTEX continues to be a much-anticipated regional trade event, providing a solid platform for major Arab and international industry players to strengthen old partnerships and create new ones and maintain a substantial presence in the highly profitable Middle Eastern markets. It also offers a unique venue for buyers and visitors to explore the latest products and participate in seminars and demonstrations conducted by international experts,” said Angela Schaschen, Managing Director, Deutsche Messe Dubai.

The three-day fair will showcase hand and machine-made carpets and rugs; textile floor coverings; fibres, yarns and textiles; and resilient floor coverings. Exhibitors will also display various wood and parquet flooring; laminate artificial grass and sports flooring; natural stone, marble and ceramic tiles; and laying skills, cleaning and application technology.

DOMOTEX 2008 will also feature an annual Creative Flooring session managed by floor laying professionals from the UK to demonstrate time-saving and quality-enhancing techniques as well as new products. This year’s organisers decided to adopt hotel and office flooring themes to capitalize on the growing demand for carpeting and flooring products from various major hospitality and business construction developments in the Middle East.
