    Hi Gang,

    First post over here. Must say, this is very nice looking site you have here.

    Anyway. I removed my truckmount today and not sure what to do about the fuel lines coming through the floor. Does the whole fuel tap have to be undone or can it be capped off somehow?

    Thanks.

    Welcome, you found a great site here. In my opinion i would remove them. If you just cap them they could be a problem in the future

    The fuel tap is usually in the filler neck hoses assy. The filler neck hose is usually cut and a tap is installed. In most cases if the fuel tap is removed, you need to replaced the vehicles hose from the filler neck to the gas tank. it is cheaper to get a 1/8 plug and cap off the fuel right at the tap.

    Cary;

    It would depend on whether you need the same size fuel tap in the new truck.

    If not, just cap it air-tight.
