    How about "Dumb Car"

A Honda Civic would destroy that thing in an accident.

Can you imagine a full size hitting that thing? Guaranteed to die.

It means the car will be destroyed but driver/passenger should live.

Who cares if the car gets totaled. Most Full size trucks would be totaled if hit by another full size truck.

    Smart indeed.

Put 4 spray jets under the front bumper and a vacuum through the rear floor board and just cruise the hallways and open areas of your commercial accounts. Faster than any Cimex.

No it doesn't mean the driver/passenger should live. Read the report. It has a good rating compared to other vehicles of similar size.

It doesn't mean the people in the vehicle are safe when it gets in an accident with a full size. A full size truck would absolutely destroy that vehicle and the passengers inside. A much larger vehicle would be safer.

I don't know if you have ever seen one on the road but its basically a motorcycle.

They test these cars by running them into a fixed object, in that instance it may be safe. When you are involved in an accident with another vehicle, vehicle mass means a lot, basically if you hit a vehicle head on that weights twice what your vehicle does, being crushed to death is not what will kill you, your vehicle will change from 60mph one way to 40mph the opposite way within a 1 second time frame, all your vital organs will rupture instantly, you don't have a hope. This is why they now build crumple zones into all newer cars to absorb the energy and prevent the shock of the collision from entering your body. On most new cars almost the entire hood area is designed to crumple and then the drivers compartment is surrounded by a ridged cage to protect you from being crushed. In any case, I drive a 5000pound SUV for my family vehicle, the fuel consumption is a small price to pay for my family's safety.
