Due to floods here in the NE I got pretty backed up. Also had to temp grab another shop. Problem - no rug pit. After a little brainstorming I came up with a pretty good idea. Went out and got some 3mil plastic to make a pit. To form the sides i used an old 2" vac hose I had from an old truckmount. Nice thing is - VERY adjustable for different size rugs!
So - anybody could do this if you don't have a pit but need one from time to time.

    Blue Tarps aren't bad either.

Very inventive, sounds like a great temporary setup. Two thumbs up!
I'm starting on onenthis weekend in my shop, gonna cut a drain in the floor and put in concrete walls for the permanent pit.

Great Tron! Take some pics. Here is a tip - try and make a way to stop off the drain so you can make a soaking pit out of it if needed. Thats the way they have it at Lisa Wagners place if I remember.
