Do you think it's a bad idea ? I don't like running without heat , but i have to many jobs to reschedule.. Thanks for any help.
I wouldn't try operating the heat exchanger without the thermostat. If you can turn off the heat exchanger maybe you could hook up your hose to your customers bathroom or kitchen sink and run hot water to the machine until the new thermostat comes. If you do this, run the hot water to the sink and get it hot before hooking your hose up to it. I know this may ba a bit of a pain, but it will allow you to get the work done. I do not recomend hooking up directly to the water heater as you may get sediment from the water heater in your machine which will cause other problems.
I think you can use it without, but it will heat the water pretty fast and can produce a lot of steam if leaved running without spraying. Dont let the wand or sprayer seat more than 20 sec. Watch your hoses too.
