I have a Sutorbilt 3 ML blower is it capable of running 4 to the door? Or is it better just to leave stock? The machine does have two vac inlets but they both go into one.

No one has chimed in yet.. I have a Sutorbilt 4MP and that model isn't strong enough to run 4 to the door, so I would guess that the 3 model wouldn't be strong enough either. 6,7 or 8 model should be strong enough for that application or the any of the "H" Series could accomodate.

jmo, I don't know if it's a question of strong enough or not, but your 3M only runs 160-170 cfm. The air velocity in a single 2" hose is already low enough I just don't think you'll see much gain by going 4TD, unless you must use very long hose runs.

What machine are you running? You may consider a free flow valve first then determine by experiment to run 4TD.

Thanks for the replies I just really couldn't find any info on that model#, I was thinking of doing a free flow but not sure yet if I want to start drilling into the tank.

In your profile it says you have a Prochem 800A. That machine has a 4ML Sutorbilt and could pull 4TTD. Is that what you run?

Yes that is the machine I have, it has the Nissan motor. I was just wondering if it could run 4ttd because it only has one inlet into the waste tank but has two hose hook ups?

Ideally jmo, 2x2" would need to empty in your tank right above your lint basket on the right side of your tank. You have the funky Prochem "aluminum constrictor pipe" that goes through the frame to rubber joint (check for clogs here) then into tank and snakes it way up through the tank and dumps into the lint basket. If that pipe is larger, like 3", than what was on my last PC Legend, it will flow better. All you can do is experiment and hook up both inlets on console. You can make a wye with 2" pvc for a few bucks and listen for the larger rush of air at the wand, feel the burn of increased wand suction lock down and hopefully wonder why you didn't do it a long time ago.

Getman, that was reminiscent of R.E.M.'s song "Stand", for some reason....

"Stand in the place that you were, now face west.
Think about direction, wonder why you didn't..."

    Probably just my inner geek.

Rogers, I'm flattered that my post evoked a more spiritual and deeper response from you. However, I was thinking more along the lines of SKILLET......"I feel like a monster!" Probably just my inner.....blower noise? I don't know!

I was thinking of just blocking off the original inlet and drill into the the top of the waste tank lid. And yes my tank has the tubing inside the tank not sure what size the tubing is i thought it was 2''. It has pretty good suction right now but more could never hurt.

I don't think a #3 has enough power to justify 42dr, but a #4 would for sure be good it has good power and when you free it up with 42dr you will really feel a improvement, I run a pc Legend and it was a big improvement over stock.
If you drill your tank,if you have room do it on the side just above waste basket and run strait ports out, if you can avoid going to the lid with 90* elbows dumping down. Elbows suck for airflow.
