OK, remember I am a newbie and the ex brother in law does not remember.
So, the question is as I was trying to buy a water pump today

Are you pumping hot or cold water through the pump?? Gee, I never hook water up to it as I was not the operator of the Steam Action.

So I "assume" cold water comes in to machine and is sent to the water pump and is pressurized as "cold water" and then routed through the engine and blower exhaust and the through the two heat exchanger up top to be "heated" and the down to the two female hookup and out to the cleaning wands? p.s. I contacted the professional at Steam Action and he offered me a deal of $95.00 per hour to consult or "crate and ship" to him for a $10,000.00 repair.

It depends on the plumbing of the truck mount. Some will pre heat the water up to a certain temp and then the water goes to the pump and then continues on to a second heat exchanger after the pump for maximum heat. Get one of the pumps that can handle up to 165 degrees and you will be ok.

Feel free to call me and I will help you with whatever I can at half the price of the other guy(just kidding :D ). Just remember I live in the pacific time zone if you call in the morning time.

Water should Enter the Water box , Then the pump, then heat exchangers , then out as far as I no Steam Action does not use any type of pre heaters. I own a steam action so if you have any questions feel free to call me.
    Good luck

You replied in one thread that you had a Steam Action machine, Is that correct? If I have the right person, can I ask a few specific questions?
    1. Based on your explanation above, there are two heat exchanger on top of my machine, what is the exhaust combination with blower exhaust called?? My water lines appear to travel out of the left upper heat exchanger and down into and out of this combination exhaust/blower exhaust and then up into the right side before going to the outlets/wands? DSC07557.JPG

In this photo, water line goes down from the front of the farthest heat exchanger and down under motor mount into the lower middle tube (blower and engine exhaust) at rear of machine under blower and comes out of the front of this unnamed middle tube and enters into the Kranzle Unloader which is attached to P.S.I gage....or this water flow I explain is reversed. Three tubes along bottom of machine are the middle one is engine exhaust and blower exhaust combined going from top heat exchangers down into the combination flowing towards the front and making a left and right 180 turn and exiting the machine as exhaust on either side of the unnamed middle tube.
    2. The near side heat exchanger connections consist of the very top left is a 1/4" 3000psi that goes down and is unconnected. The opposite side of this fitting hold the red wire that travels down to the TEMP gage on front panel. The second fitting down to left is a 3/8 3000psi hose that goes down to the same areas of the 1/4" one and is not connected. The one traveling straight down goes to front panel for dual wand connects.
Can you offer any identification based on this confusing explanation??
