Hey i was wandering what spoting products you guys use on area rugs for non pet stains and pet stains . is a molecular modifier or UPT ok to use on area rugs?? And also i will be cleaning a rug soon that had some brownish colored stains on it, what would u guys do?
Not even close to enough info, what equipment are thinking on using on this rug? Where are you cleaning it? What kind of rug is it, material? Size? Etc. What are the stains?
Tron is on the money - post some pics when you get them in - always a big help. Pics of front and back of rugs. Spot treat for rugs with urine can be done but you really have to know exactly where they are - that can be tough. I have had a few in like that - dog had one or two accidents. Hit the spots with 50/50 vinegar and water - dwell - water claw then clean. PS - where the hell did that pic of me come from - never realized I was that color! Other than that it looks just like me!
I would suggest Wool Medic for most pet stains. You bio-enzyme products usually can work, but they digest protein. Wool is protein. So there is the potential for damage to the wool fiber.
