    Has anyone used this product? Seems to me to be a pretty good product with a TON of potential for marketing/selling to customers.

    "Sporicidin® has been used in hospital, medical and dental environments since 1978 and provide 100% kill of disease and odor-causing organisms."

    ...And says lasts for 6 months!!!

    I'm seriously thinking about using this as a selling point for disinfectant and deodorizer, but not sure about the Hospital smell... guess I'd have to buy a bottle to give it a try. Some customers may want this service/product.

    Thanks!

    In what way to plan to market it to sell the product/service. Just as a disinfectant ?

    I wouldnt market it as a deoderizer cause it smells like a hospital but as a disinfectant If it lives up to it's claims why not.

    Yea, Im sure most residentials wouldn't want the hospital smell in their homes. Perhaps comm? I'll pick up a sample and see what it is really like. May not be too bad though. Dentist, medical, vets, etc types offices may prefer this type of product with its disinfecting capabilities. Perhaps the difference between getting and losing a bid? Just running ideas in my head...

    Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to atleast have a gallon in my van and offer it as a service if desired.

    One quick thing to be careful of. If and when you market this product to your clients always always always ask if they or anyone in the household are chemically sensitive or have asthma. If you give them or have them pay for a product and they use it and they get sick they are going to go after you. I would have them sign a waiver too. Just a little food for thought

    First a word of caution - Sporicidin can have a residual UP TO 6 MONTHS. It may be a lot lot less. Don't promise 6 months residual action.

    We have had some inquiries from large manufacturers and ship lines about cleaning surfaces to protect against things like bird flu, norovirus, rotovirus, Norwalk and so forth. Even the flu or other disease that can spread around an office.

    If all the employees stay health, it can be a big boost for the company. Might be some potentail to market a surface spray / wipe down service.

    Jonrober;

    I think the "6 month claim" is for prevention of mold only.

    Still it is a claim they make.
