Hello just wondering if anyone ever experience this situation i purchase a avenger 210 at a very good price cus the blower was seize ,how ever i manage to get it going again , i spray a whole can an half of lubricant now runs good but there is this knocking sound when i start the machine any ideas on how to get rid of it ....
could just be some surface rust on the lobes making the noise. the tolerances are pretty tight on the lobes.
i think so yesterday i was doing a job took me about hour and half and after i was done i did not hear it any more but i havent run it every since i have some more jobs line up for wed see what happens but thanks it helps...
hello guys good news the blower dosen't make any noise anymore i keep spraying the lubricant it works great now so quick fix for seize blower first remove the connector that goes to waist tank then spray a whole can of lubricant either jp blast or w d 40 let it set for 24 hours then use a pipe wrench and try to move the shaft in front of blower be patience it may take a while a mallet could help if dont move spray one more can let it set for 24 hours by then it should move also grease it up try to go back and forth once it moves it may make a loud knocking sound is all the build up inside of it just run it for a few hours keep spraying the lubricant and after a while should be fine dont forget to change oil good luck i hope this is help full for some one going trough the situation good luckk...
