Has anyone ever tried adding tea tree oil to their rinse? I use End Zone. I know tea tree oil has sanitizing properties naturally and I was wondering if there is a place for them in a rinse solution.

You would have to use so much it would be overpowering. I believe Releasit Encap has (or had) tea tree oil in it, but they were careful to point out that there was not enough to say you were 'sanitizing' anything.

Yes, it takes a lot of Tea Tree oil to sanitize. There would be an over-powering aroma. There would also be an oily residue that would lead to quick resoiling if one was to use enough TTO to sanitize.

I use benefact antimicrobial disinfectant in my chemical injection jug for when they want sanitization and deodorization, it's all natural and seems to work quite well.

I gave up sanitizing anything long ago. I just don't think it happens.

    Not with carpet, anyway.
