Just curious what the general opinion is, according to Prochem, it's ok to run up to 10% ethanol in the truckmount, but they still dont go out of their way to recommend it.

Some pumps at Co-op are dispensing up to 85% ethanol fuel now for the flex-fuel compatible cars! So I gotta watch I dont put that in the truckmount van!

85% ethanol will cause some serious problems I'm told with truckmount engines.

I never thought of that, Richard. Thanks for bringing it up.

I have heard that ethanol has reeked some havoc on small engines, such as lawnmowers, weed wackers etc. Not sure how it would work in carpet cleaning motors? Good topic spotman

I would classify a truckmount motor as a "small engine"
