A few who wanted to attend the Rug Lover's Tour in New York last fall missed out. So, Barry is hosting another Rug Lover's Tour. This one is in Washington DC and Northern VA. The dates are February 10th - 12th. The tour includes a tour of Herat Oriental Rugs one of the country's premier rug sales shops with a class on rug identification. There will also be classes on cleaning and marketing your Oriental rug cleaning service, a tour of the NAtional Textile Museum in Washington, a tour of Hadeed Carpet with training on cleaning to remove biological contamination. Does this our come anywere close to indiana? or surrounding cities. Does anyone have pictures or videos and info on the previous tours that have bben held?
There has only been one previous Rug Lover tour. That was in New York City. They are held where there are large rug shops, rug cleaning facilities and other points of interest for rug people all in one place. Barry O'Connell who is a national expert on rug ID, Dusty from Rug Badger and Paul Lucas of Chemmax have put these two tours together. I don't know where or when they may plan future tours, but call Sue at Chemmax and she will have whatever information is available.
