We give all re-stretching to one man and he gives all re-cleans to us. Win/Win, I don't like stretching and he doesn't clean carpet.

I would prefer to just clean as well. But repairs are a ridiculous money maker. Skipping a restretch is like leaving cash laying on the floor. All you have to do is pick it up!

If you need help or any info, just ask. I can help you and I'm sure a lot of other guys here can too.

I agree, good money if you know what you are doing and sell the job right. With my crab, deadman and behrclaw we are able to tighten carpets without a complete restretch or a restretch cost. We can make them look better, remove ripples and don't always have to MT the room. Probably do 25-30 of these econo stretches a year. We just give them another option than having to MT the complete room.

We haven't restretched in almost 10 years, but I plan to re-train in full carpet repairs before the end of this year
