Ive been searching for an answer for awhile online with little or no luck.

My power washer pump oil, after a few hours of use is turning a milky white. Granted this question is on a power washer but a TM pump is not much different.

The only solution I have come accross is one of the seals is going and the pump is getting water in it mixed with the pump oil.

    Any ideas?

That is exactly what is happening. Be careful your pump may lockup on you. When I hear oil turning white I immediately think thermoplasti seizure. This is an occurance when coolant is mixed with oil inside an engine crankcase. The reason behind this is the oil is oxidizing and turns white then into a solid. Are you using any oxidizers in your water? And either way, oil turns white when it oxidizes.

It's water or you are using an detergent oil.

Get it fixed quick or your doomed, rebuild should be a lot cheaper than a new unit. It's water.

    it actually works out.

Talked to a guy. To have it rebuilt would be around 200.

To get a larger pump for more water is 100 more.

Looks like im getting a new pump!

    Thanks for your help!
