My pressure line is pulsating. I assume that maybe there is air leaking in the pump? What could be causing it?
    Thanks

Is the pump leaking at the head? If so, it may be sucking in air and causing the pulsation therefore needing a seal replacement.

It can also be something clogged inside one of the valves. Pull them out one at a time and check them.

    I hope this helps. :-D

Replace your nitrogen accumulator, its a fairly inexpensive part and you can do it yourself fairly easy, ask your truckmount dealer about it.

Most manuals recommend every 1000hrs but I wait till the line starts pulsating all the time.

Are you sure its drawing in air
check by force feeding the pump with a garden hose with the machine off and look for a leak some wear

They can also pulsate due to a lack of water flow
check you have good inlet flow and no kinks in the solution line and as mentioned there could be some waste in there thats been sucked up

This was my question of the day. My new Boxxer 421 only has 105 hrs and now my solution lines are pulsating big time. However, I've also noticed my high pressure pump has a slight leak. Still registers full on the yellow dipstick. Will investigate.
I must have gotten a lemon. Have had numerous water related problems since day 1. Heat & suction are the Boxxer's biggest asset. No problems there.

If its leaking water your seals are bad.

Same issue, i just got a new pulse pump and it has to be primed each time i use the truck. I went to do a job the other day and noticed the manifold was leaking alot. I have to order a new seal kit for the 310. I am not aware of the nitrogen fill for the cat 310 or i'm missing something.

Could someone explain what the nitrogen accumulator does? my pump started pulsating after cycling neutral scale remover. I was thinking it has something to do with running the pump with very little pressure in the solution line. maybe? Or did I let my inlet water temp get too high and blew a seal?(I haven't seen a leak in the wet side, at least) The scale remover is sitting in the machine so, im not ready to test the pump again, but either way, I am curious about how the accumulator works. thanks.

nitrogen accumulator eliminates the pulsating. if it is old it is probably rusted out and needs to be replaced. but if the seals are good in it (and it si not rusted out) you can have it refilled with nitrogen at the gas/welding shop.
