My prochem everest has water coming out of exhaust (a lot of water), also coming out the side of the heat exchangers, had them pressure tested and they are all ok. The repair shop says it's because we are sucking up too much foam on our jobs, first time in 7 years we've had that problem. Any other ideas what to check why that water is coming out of exhaust.

    Thanks

All the time? Does it happen with the solution pump off? Or maybe your waste tank switch is bad...

Your Everest is water cooled, make sure it's not coolant from a blown head gasket or something. Check the coolant level.

Coolant will give you a mist at best, not running water out of the blower.. You would smell the coolant burning, and if it was coming out that fast you wouldn't cal it "water".. Always good to check it tho.

Checked the switch, it's good. Also, it's waste water because we had to pull out heat exchangers to see if it was a leak and they were covered with waste, had to restore them.

I have had that happen before, It can be a couple things. If your dump valve has something stuck in it preventing it from closing 100% or if the valve is worn the tank will suck air into itself when the machine is running and when you get a few inches of water in the tank it is just like somebody sitting there blowing bubbles and it will fill up your waste tank FAST with foam . A crack in the floor of the tank or in one of the welds can do the same thing.

We've had the same problem on our Everest (Carbureted). Not so on our other Everest (EFI).

If everything checks out, either set up a defoamer system, or back off on your detergent (turn it down at your meter), and apply a little heavier pre spray. Also, check your check valve located at the front of the machine to see if it needs rebuilt, or replaced. If its stuck open, you may have a lot of back-metering detergent build up which may contribute to the foaming! We thinned our detergent use, and the problem disappeared.....
