Prochem 405 does anyone know if I can run my unit without the temp solenoid plugged in?

I have a feeling it's dumping water once I hit 230 degrees. My thermostat is dialed on the way to 300, so I can either adjust my thermostat or unplug my temp solenoid altogether..

That is around where it is supposed to bypass, go higher and you will melt componants. Carpet cleaning isn't a game Johnny. You have to be responsible about your equipment. Keep fiddling with that truckmount and your gonna hurt yourself or someone else. Learn how to clean carpet before you play with extreme temperatures.

    Ara,
I'm not trying to get more heat out of my machine, my main concern here is that my 80 GALLON waste tank is reaching capacity after only 4-5 rooms!

I'll clean for slightly under an hour and hear my machine shut down because the waste tank is full.

I'm not even sure if it is the solenoid, but I can tell you it's not the bypass valve, I tested that one.

There is another valve on the water box. If it gets stuck open, you will use a ton of water.

Replaced the 180 degree thermal valve on the water box and man that did fix my machine! I even notice a few degrees more heat.. My machine is doing 232 and waste tank not even coming close to half way.. Thanks.
