I purchased a truckmount used a couple of years back that thje housing removed and has been repainted several times. All I knew was that it was a 8-10 yr old monster powered by an industrial ford 4 cyl gas engine. Now I need a starter for the ford engine and it took me quite a while to even find out who manufactured the mount. I came accross the Powerclean line and recognized my monster. Unfortunately all I get is a voicemail that says mailbox full from these guys. Anyone out there own one of these brutes and if so, can you offer any info that might help me replace parts on the ford engine? I need a starter today!

They are out of biz. Your starter may be at the local tractor store or farm / ranch supply. You have a great machine so don't worry. Someone with more knowledge than I will be along shortly. Over.

I suspected as much and yes, it's a little overkill on power, but it has treated me extremely well for two years now. I have tried the search engines looking for specs on the motor and no luck. The Ford Industrial distributer wasn't much help either. I love TMF for so many reasons and finding solutions to problems like this is just one more. I appreciate the quick reply and hope you are right about them coming along shortly because I'm down today.

I can help. I have a number for the engine supplier and will get it for you when I get to my shop.

If I am not mistaken there is some forklifts( not sure what kind) that use that little motor. A forklift place might have your starter.

From the search engine inquiries I have made, I am gathering the forklifts use a diesel engine that has more hp, but my information on that is vague so perhaps I will pursue that a little more in depth. I'm dead ended now and that is one direction I really didn't go in. Thanks for helping out!
