Hey Guys,

I'm new to this business. My business partner, who will be responsible for making the majority of the sales calls, said he would feel a lot more comfortable on the road if he had a brochure. The jury is still out (for me anyway) on how effective a brochure will be, but I want him to have the tools he believes he needs. Anyway, we are solely targeting commercial work at this time. I'm mostly looking for your thoughts on the content. I did use a template and am a bit slow at manipulating it since I'm not a computer guy or graphic designer, but your feedback would be greatly appreciated.

BTW, this is a bi-fold brochure, making it 4 pages total.

I like it alot.
My first thought when I saw the guy working in the first pic was, "They do a great job!"
Very informative, they can read it on thier own time.
Good job!

Pictures, layout, text All great

The graphics are bad though, find a better background and if you cant i bet you can find someone for $50-$100
Search google and see if you can find free or inexpensive background/theme.

Everything else looks good

Thank you for the feedback Gents!! I do appreciate it.

Shane-I had to chuckle at your comment regarding the graphics because I agree 100%. Unfortunately, that design was the only part of the brochure contributed by my business partner, who of course loves it. This is one of those times where I could probably win the battle but lose the war so to speak, so I'm going to let him have the design. Thanks again for the feedback. I have enjoyed reading your posts on many topics.

Your partner is 100% correct. You NEED to have a leave behind beside just a business card.

When you are trying to get your foot in the door you need to separate yourself from the crowd somehow and this will do it. Your potential customers don't know who you are and what you can do. This makes you "more" of a professional then the guy with just the business card.

Here is my residential brochure. I am putting together a piece for commerical right now. A presentation folder with my logo and sell sheets inside.
