Does anyone know the average strength of peroxide in an A-B type oxidizing Peroxide+ammonia solution such as Stain Magic or Esteams "Vanish".

I can get Peroxide from the drug store in concentrations as high as 35%
But Im not sure if thats going to be too strong for removing coffee stains and such.

Which drug store sells 35% peroxide???? I would like to get some.

I think the peroxide in SM and Vanish is 40 volume or 12%.

Yes they said the 35% peroxide was for hair. And peroxide is not chlorine bleach fortunately. Sounds like most pro brand are around the 12 to 14 range from what youre all saying. Thats helpful, thanks!

I dont think it will be practical to buy my own chemicals for that tho, since
the 35 proof is 95 dollars a gallon plus shipping. Plus I still have to buy the ammonia. Vanish is around 40 dollars a gallon for each, and I know the stuff has extra goodies in it for its special purpose that straight peroxide would not.

Ammonia and Chlorine Bleach, I believe make mustard gas.
