Hi everyone, I have a Blazer plus that is not heating enough. It is a two stage using vacuum exhaust and engine exhaust. The engine heat exchanger gets hot but the water coming out is not. Could there be a possibility that the water is by passing somewhere between the vacuum heat exchanger and then bypassing the big heat exchanger and going out to the wand? I will descale it tomorrow to see if it improves but in case it does not what else could be causing the problem?

    Thank you in advanced.

There could be a few things, causing it not to heat.

You're correct in going to the simplest part and descaling. Also check all Y Stainers and check valves on the machine, and make sure they're clean.

The next step you want to do is turn the machine on, and have someone trigger the wand. Before starting the machine, take the lid off the waste tank and see if there is water pouring into there while triggering the wand, after starting it of course.

    Next:

Turn key on, but don't start the machine. Turn the temp. knob, and listen for a click sound when you turn the temp down. If it clicks it means your bypass valve is working. If it doesn't it means the cylinoid isn't activating.

Locate the by-pass cylinoid and check the wires first to be sure they're connected. If they are then replacing the cylinoid would be your next step.

Also check to be sure there is no water coming out of the blower exhaust, even a little trickle.

Thanks for your question and keep us posted. Hope this helps some.
