Will my truckmount overheat if i dont turn the temp control valve down when im not using the water? Mine overheated and wondering if that was the reason it did, i had the valve all the way on and stopped using the water and it overheated.
most do shut down if they get to hot, mine shuts off at 270. Rob sells a bypass valve to modify your wand so the truckmount won't over heat while you're moving furninture. If you search the forum you may find the video.
Your machine should not overheat. I know when I had the Prochem performer, it had a bypass orifice and a screen. If they are plugged water will not bypass and could cause overheating. I am not familiar with the 800a. If you do have an orifice check to see if it is clean. I believe the 800a is a water cooled engine. Make sure your fluids are in good shape. Another issue I had with overheating was a bad water pump, you could ck to see if that is leaking. Perhaps others will chime in who are more familiar with the 800a. wayne
