Still seems to have good suction, water pressure, etc.. But when I walked back to the truck while cleaning a house earlier I noticed the engine sort of slipping a bit.. Simliar to a transmission slipping very slightly.

What could be the cause of this slight pausing? Could be a belt? Governor?

Could be a number of reasons. One of the first and most inexpensive concerns I would have would be the fuel filter. If its dirty then the motor wouldn't be getting the fuel it needs, thus, seeming to skip. Always start with the easy less expensive variables then work forward.

I'll replace the fuel filter tomorrow.. Come to think of it, one time my machine wouldn't even start until I tapped on the fuel pump so it very well could be fuel related.

The fuel filter did in fact fix the problem, thanks.. I'm not sure if it's a temp fix or not but ran the machine for over an hour with no more engine slips.
