I am new to the forum and would like to start a discussion on sodium based or phosphate based products that do not seem to leave a residue yet clean very effectively. Procyon seems to be big in this category. What other products are similar to Procyon. Thank you for your reply
There are very few products that would evaporate completely and leave no reisude. Usually it is a matter of how well they rinse away and how thorough the rinsing job is. Products containing sodium or phosphate might or might not leave a residue, dpending on what else was included and how complete the rinsing was. I am not familiar with the product called Carpet Details, buit there are other many, many cleaners that include phosphates and quite a few with sodium of some sort. Many dtergents are sodium based. Our company - Bridgepoint - makes a rpoduct called Prolon that is similar to Procyon. The main ingredient is phosphate. All the ingredients are food grade products. That means they have been cleared by the FDA to be included in food with no need for warning labels. Notice - I don not advice eating or drinking Prolon! Prolon also includes ingredients to prvent corrosion to metals parts of your plumbing and sprayers. The high pH of phospahtes can be corrosiove if there are not any corrosion inhibitors included.
