Jon Don, Joe Polish, Howard Partridge.. They all offer a newsletter program, which one do you use and why would you recommend this program over others?

I know several that use JonDon and really like it!!
Howard and Joe have it put together well for their members as well, if it were me I would look at Jondon due to content and cost!

I write my own. It doesn't take that long and it's more personal.

Hello Dave. Hope your feeling better!
Would it be too much to ask Dave to get a sample of your newsletter via Private Message here?

    Thanks,Rob Allen.

    Hi Rob,

I would be happy to talk with anyone that is interested in making their own. I don't want to give mine up because in a year I am likely to see someone profit off the idea and I would hate to see that. I am here to help and anyone who wants to make their own.

I've thought about it, but its a lot of work coming up with newsletters, or a lot of expense getting someone like jondon to make them, all in the name of spamming your customers. Alas, to each their own.

    Richard,

If you use your newsletters as a teaching tool, your customers will love them.

    Hey Rob,

I ran your question by Tina Willer, one of our newsletter reps at Jon-Don, and she suggested you call Bob Mezo with Supreme Cleaners in dixon, IL. His number is 815-288-1644. Bob has been running our personalized newsletter every month now in his company for five years and has lots of great ideas on how to implement it in your business.

Director of Training and with nothing to do with newsletters at Jon-Don (that is why you ask for Tina at 800-400-9473!)

PS I used a newsletter in my business back in the bad, old days before we had the option of a turn-key, personalized package available. Like Dave, as long as we entertained and informed our clients most welcomed it. However, maybe I wasn't as organized/ creative as Dave but I found the preparation to be a huge, ever present burden. There is absolutely no question in my mind that if I was in business today I personally would "pick my battles" and go with a pre-done package. Don't ask me which one I would recommend! :)

I have been checking them all out as I'm intersted in implementing one. I really like the ones Steve Marsh from "Be Competition Free" offers. I had the opportunity to speak with Steve and review all the newsletters at Connections this year.

It's very in line with my way of conducting business, cleaning methods and philosophies. They were writen by him so they have a personal/owner feel and you can personalize them or change the content to meet your needs. They are informational with helpful tips and not pushy or self serving. There is also a spot for your picture and personal message in each newsletter and you can include an offer if you'd like. I haven't taken the plunge yet, but when I do, I think it will be this newsletter program.
