    Hi guys!

    I've been on the finance side of the carpet cleaning industry for quite awhile now.. However, this is the first time I've come across this website. It seems like a great place to to meet others in the industry, learn from past experiences and share your knowledge.     Great to have you here .. The guys at vortex gave me your card and app I think I called you first before any other company you said I need a-1 credit I had 65k down .. I don't have a-1 credit :) .. But you where very nice on the phone and said to call you later and you might be able to help with me .. Most of the other guys said about the same so I got a loan here it took some time but got it done

    Any way .. I'm sure you have all kinds of great info and can help out here in time .. so enjoy the site and if i can help in any way ?

    Are you sure it was me who you spoke with?
    We don't always need to see A-1 type credit to get deals done! I guess it really depends on your situation though. Anyways, too bad i couldn't help you out! But I'm glad to hear you got the equipment anyways!

    *Edit: I've called on Vortex numerous times, however have yet to do any business with them. At one point I did send them info on my company through the mail, although I'm not sure if they got it, let alone passed it on to anyone. John, if your sure that they did put you in contact with me, let me know so I can thank them. I appreciate it John.

    I'll try and look for the info again they sent me a packet with FI info for I think 3 companys ( a list ) there where 2 cards and 1 or 2 flyers

    When I called you you where not in the office ( cell phone ) I think ? .. Thats whey you said call back when your in the office you sounded a little busy

    When I pick up my cell and I'm busy 80% of the time they don't like it and don't get the job .. So I'm learning if I don't have time to talk and give them lots of info and realy sale them ..I will not pick up ..

    I'm not sure I stil have there packet ( the wife love to clean and all gos in the trash )

    Send all your info over 2 Aero Tech there doing more sales than Vortex because there about 15k less for the same thing ..

    I'm sorry about that John. I can assure you I wasn't trying to blow you off. I'll be honest, I don't get an hourly wage, I work off of straight commission (like any lender) so when I get a call i'm usually all over it like flies on.... well you get the idea.

    I've only been away from my desk for two reasons this year.. either working tradeshows or the time I needed to get some teeth pulled! So, If I couldn't talk to ya I was either pounding the pavement or had a mouth full of drills. :AddEmoticons04220:

    Your 100% correct about losing business if you cant conduct it on the first call. Esp in my line of work; its very competitive and can be pretty cut throat. (I'm sure everyone in the carpet business can relate to that)

    But still I appreciate the words of kindness! I'll get the next one for ya! :AddEmoticons08024::AddEmoticons08047:
