I used this stuff for the first time and it didn't work at all.

I used it exactly like the instructions (wait 20-30 sec. then apply B....blah blah) said and I couldn't get Sunkist or Kool Aid out.

I was very embarrassed. I told my customer that I had this new stuff that is suppose to make it come right out. Any suggestions?

Did ya heat transfer it at all? I had success with light stains, the darker ones I don't
even mess with, without the heat transfer process.

    same here.

i had a really bad red stain and red vanish removed 98%, YES with heat tranfer, and red zone i tried before same stain without heat transfer and nothing. i didn't try with heat transfer because i didn't know how to do it with heat, mix the solution and then heat or same way as the instruction and then heat.
anyway i expected to remove the stain as the video showed.

I figured that was the whole point of this stuff, not having to heat it. I already have some of the original bridgepoint red stain out that you have to heat.

I like Bridgepoint products and use many of them, but I have not had any success to speak of with any of the red stain removers. I like the one part ones the most and I use Harvards Stain Blaster. Although I do have some Red Relief on the truck at this moment.

Red stain removers work best on dry fibers. This allows the product to be absorbed intot he fiber. If you apply it to damp carpet, the stian remover is diluted and does not penetrate well.

Fairly fresh stains can be removed without heat, but older stains usually require heat to complete the chemical reaction. Be prepared with iron and hot damp towel or wall paper steamer or similar.

What the home-owner or another cleaner used prior to your removal attempts may have a lot to do with the results. Dye stains are easy to set if the wrong cleaner is used.

The level of protection on the carpet will also effect the results. If they have older, heavily used carpet with no protection left, the stains will be more difficult to remove.

With so many variables, I would not judge a product by one attempt. Other have reported good results with RedZONE.
