I had been cleaning a house at least once a year sometimes more for about 8 years. I would do the job and leave an account and it would be paid online. When the owner moved to a property out of town i was asked to go out and clean the house. It was miles out and i kept thinking, I am never coming out here again, dirt roads, holes like craters. On arrival i finally met the customer of some eight years. How suprised we both were to find each other after being in the army together. Have you been doing any premises and never met the customer? It just shows how trusted we are in the eyes of some consumers. Mick
Wow, thats wild Mick! Many times i go out and do jobs never seeing the customer, and just bill then, or call when finished with the price. (it feels good to be trusted) But it works both ways. Cheers, AL
I have one that I have been cleaning for about 10 years, I have never seen her, she always gives instructions on where the key will be, what to clean and where to leave the bill and she mails a check. I would have a hard time doing that. Bobby
Helen and I were just speaking about this on Monday, Our Client, we have been cleaning every Sept except 1 after school starts since 1988, 19 years, Never met her, Like Mick, tell us where the key was leave an invoice she would send a check. Met her husband 3-4 years ago, He has a 55 chev PU with a 265 V8 same color as the one I had ,Wish I still had it. anyways we were on our way there monday while we were talking about it. We get there and there she is. She was running late and was just leaving. She is a clerk at another local store and has waited on us for years and we just didn't know we knew each other already. PS. The one year we didn't clean (4 years ago)they were going to replace but just didn't get it scheduled in either. She also told us this will be the last time on this Gold Herculon from the 60's.
