I don't get it. Why would any company benefit from putting TMF stickers all over their equipment promoting TMF.
Personalized ones with company logos like Joel asked about I could see.
Same with hats, t's, shirts, etc.
If I am going to wear something or sticker something it is going to have my company name on it.

It Shows support for the Forum is all, I consider it kind of like a iirc cert badge that some guys sew on thier sleeve, almost like a Certification at least I consider this place a great asset to the new and upcoming items in the carpet cleaning world.

I have a 69 cj5 Jeep ,And i have stickers showing a forum i belong to as well as the tread lightly etc.. that is all it is showing some support, The bigger picture here is it helps keep the Forum free for us to use.

    Nice looking stickers boys.

And still pleanty of other places to put you logo / name.....

    :bigsmiley: peace

C'mon dude. It's the least we could.

After all this is a free site with tons of information and very nice and informative people. I'm sure you have read and posted some stuff that has helped you out in your business as well. Wow

For guys like myself who are just starting, I can honestly say that I could not have done it without TMF (especially the TMF FlashChat Gang). This is one of the best sites for us carpet cleaners to go to for info on jobs or just to hang out with people and shoot the ****. So again, it' the least we could do.

Maybe you don't know what it costs to run a site like this or the time and effort it takes, but it's a lot of work. Tre and Rob are doing a great job and are always looking to make this site that much better by asking opinions or for suggestions. Okay, got that out of the way!!!:argue:

Rob, nice wand flare! makes that wand look cool and supports TMF. Hope I didnt come on too strong, just needed to vent a little.:D

Certainly no one is being forced to purchase anything. Money collected from items sold in the store go back into the forum.

Most people purchase the hats and shirts as a way of supporting this board. Same with the stickers.... just a way of donating and getting a tangible item while also helping the administrators maintian the forum.

    Thanks,

    Matt

Rob asked "Let me know what you think guys"

    It's just my opinion.
If someone asks for a opinion I will give one.
I am sure Rob did not take offense to it and will probably do something with individual companies and logos.

I think everyone needs to read over the post by Kevin and relax a bit. The only attacks I see are those being directed towards him. He simply expressed his opinion. God forbid he didn't heap praises upon Rob Allan's wand accessory.

I agree 100% with Kevin. There is no way in the world I would put the name of a forum, this or any other, all over my equipment. If a client is going to see a name adorning my equipment, uniforms, vehicles, etc. it is most definitely going to be my name. Heck, I even peel off the names of the auto dealership on my vehicles. Same goes for the company that does the lettering.

If you want to support TMF in that way, putting TMF logos on your equipment, you should. However, don't bash someone for taking a valid position with regard to operating a business.

Why no reminder to "Stick to the topic" when the above post was posted yesterday? Is it only OK to go off topic if one is bashing someone who dares to take issue with a post by your father?

    Of course it is.

And after I posted after Jason, I never read any of this thread.

I just had the time to read it this morning, so that is why I said what I said, it was for everyone.
