Are you doing car detailing now??lol I wonder how many cleaners out there do car detailing.? I will periodically will clean a car interior(seats,floor and mats) but favor RV'S/ spotman
Yes! It is the advantage of having a hard working wife in the business and a shop! Since I have all but "mastered" carpet cleaning now, I need a new challenge, so I am learning car detailing, a whole new art. Now my trained tech goes out and does the carpets all day and I stay home at the shop cleaning rugs and detailing at least 2 cars per day in the shop. It brings in an average of an extra $500 a day and I dont have to get all burned out driving around all day. I'm also available now to go out and do estimates, pick up and deliver rugs, or do all the colorsealing and VCT strip/wax jobs while the tech is out there cleaning carpets. It's understandable why not many proprietors here do detailing, it takes up most of the day and if there is only ONE of you working then you need to be out there cleaning carpets, not rubbing a car!
