There is a company making a system called, "The Prowler", who advertises 240 degree heat output. They use a single- cylinder Honda motor. I got into a "heated discussion" with one of their reps, because I called them on that heat claim. "At what flow rate can it do that consistently?", I asked. I never got an answer, because the answer would have proven my point... That they were not telling the "whole story", to be polite about it.

Looking at the page you listed, I see that this system supposedly has, "4 times the heat output of any other exchanger"... Really? And what's the next best exchanger that they tested it against...? And the one after that? You mean that it has 4 times as much heat output as a Vortex, AeroTech, or a Genesis?

Wild claims like that make me wonder about the people who make them.

It's made by a car mechanic fresh into the industry about a year ago.

Kinda looks like a rip-off of the Big Daddy by John's Custom Machines. His was the first 350 driven TM I am aware of, though others on this board know way more about these sort of things. The above statement was just the first thing that came to mind when I was looking at the MW320.

    Yes it does!

It does like the Big Daddy Unit.

Has anyone had much experience with either unit here. It would seem that a V8 could have the heat to power two wands well. But please do not take that for fact - I said it would "seem" to be able too.

I am sure I am leaning toward a heat exchanger - I look forward to hearing more about Daunes Oxleys unit and how it is coming along. he is likely to post updates soon.

Stock the MW320 only has 190 degrees of heat. You have to buy an additional heat booster for temps upwards of 250 degrees.

    very good point

Very good point and that extra cost is right at 850.00. I do find it odd that a V8 350cu engine has a hard time heating to above 190 when much smaller twins are doing so. It is nice that the MW320 can do three wands. That is two to three wands at what heat, what temperatures and at what jet at what hose lenght on each hose? No, they do not give you that info! I wounder why?!

If it is 190 degrees at the TM then what is it at 100' and #6 jet. Then at 2 wands the same - then three wands?

Also I called them today - twice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I never did get someone on the phone that i could speak with clearly and get answers to the above or any "?" answered. After 5 minutes on hold the first time and near 7 the second I gave up. If anyone knows the above answers I would like to know the answer.

The Big Daddy looks good. I am cancered about V8 Engine heat in the Van. It seems that it would be close to putting your head under the hood! Very hot and a long time to cool down after use. Any one know?

I think I'll hold off and see what coming out of Atlanta.
