Ok here's a question.....Does anyone mark the urine spots before treating them or do you change the lightbulbs to blacklights and clean? :-D

You all know we don't clean in the dark holding a U/V light so how do you do it?

I marked mine using a spool of yarn the other night. Seemed to work good but was very time consuming.

Someone needs to invent a marker that disappears after a couple hours

I just did this today...I just tear up some paper and leave a 1" square piece wherever the urine is. I pick it up as I go. Masking tape works good too! it doesn't get blown around by the pressure coming out of your wand.

I use pennies. One goes in the center and 3-5 gose on outside edge.

I leave them as I introduce the juice, (Non acid for pennies...use dimes if you are using acid) after dwell, I claw and remove the pennies.

I have used pennies and the yellow round stickers from office supply. Some friends used white chalk and drew the outline of the area to be treated.

Don't use colored chalk. It may never clean out.

I use the little round stickers too. They are very helpful for me, I am slightly colorblind so if they have some stains that I have trouble seeing, I'll just ask the customer to put them on any bad spots they are concerned with. It's amazing how many spots that I'd miss if I didn't ask them.

I use the white chalk or dark depending on the carpet color. I've had no issues with it coming out during the process.
