Don't discount T&G. That would be my advise. You have to be able to get full price for something.

Well I don't consider 3 rooms and a hall for $99 a discount in my market either. Not looking for a big discount, just looking for what would be a deal that would make $75 or more and be big enough to make it worthwhile for the customer, small enough to leave room for an upsell for me.

Will never hurts to run one larger coupon...

3 (or 4) rooms of carpet PLUS kitchen tile and grout cleaning only $199

Leaves you room to add bathrooms, sealer, extra room of carpet... plus all the normal upsells

Will, how much T&G have you done?
I ask, because I find it more time consuming and unpredictable than CC.
For example, I did a 2500 sq ft carpet job the other day, with rotovac in many areas, with a porty and bucket brigade in about 3 hours.
Today I did a 1000 sq ft tile job, ended up 5 hours, with sealer.
Sometimes they look to be simple and just consume all your time.
Grout can be really tricky, and you don't know it till you start cleaning.
I try to not go below 50 cents a foot on tile.

I also don't mention sealer till they see how nice it's cleaning up, then I upsell for 20-30 cents a foot, nice profit center, and protects their investment.

I try to add kitchen tile starting at .50 per ft. If it's an add on while we are cleaning carpet I start at adding kitchens for $99.00.

Have not done any T&G yet, will be learning how when my TM comes. Will have the TM about one week before the August ads start running so I will have a week to learn how. I will have a guy training me on the TM use that has done lots of T&G so I will have some hands on training.

Should I run a T&G by itself special or a combo one like 1kaday suggested?

Do you guys rinse with water or an acid rinse before applying sealer?
What is the quickest method of sealer application?
    Sorry about the highjack.

combo will I think if you don't land tile you can land carpet. I would offer kitchen tile cleaned absolutely for free just pay for the sealer with any three rooms of carpet cleaned at your regular price. No tile No problem we'll clean your favorite recliner instead you only pay for scotch guard.
it worked for me just OK I would say

I like to keep it simple. 150 sq ft is a 10x15 kitchen for $89.95 + upsell the sealer. What do you charge for sealer?
Coupon people need something clear cut. My kitchen or bathroom $89. and if you get sealer great.

I like this idea for a coupon. Keep it approachable by most consumers, but still relatively profitable for you. It also gets you in the door for quoting more tile, carpet and furniture.

Tile isn't all that hard most of the time. It will take some trial and error till you get it right, and it is unpredictable as others have said.

Just my normal price of .50 to clean and .30 to seal. I can clean and seal 200-300 square feet of tile per hour and cleaning a room of carpet only takes a few extra minutes because all the equipment is already set up, all you have to do is change the wand.

This works well because almost everyone will want more than one room of carpet cleaned so by doing this I can often add on all the carpet in the house or at least several rooms and most of the time I end up doing more than 200 sq feet of tile.
