I just watched both videos, i like it. It seems to be a great machine for the money. I have spent over seven thousand on my porty set up and i would rather have that in my trailer for sure, congrats.

Yes it is an entry level TM but when you add up the costs of some of the alternative setups it isn't bad.

    • High performance portable with some options $3000
    • LG heater $1500
    • Generator $1000-$2000
I would guess that even a 14 HP TM would get more suction and heat then the average portable in a van setup.

To be honest Will, A high performance porty with a LG heater and booster would produce way more heat than a 14HP HX TM and I would venture to say the vac power would be right there as well...

I would still rather have the TM but when guys compare their modded porty set ups to a TM...this is about what they can compare to...

I have done jobs with it, no problems so far, dont know exact dry time but the carpet is so dry by the time I leave I am sure its fast..so far I am making around $100-110 per hour solo with the machine, without upsell like scotchgard, carpets are as clean as they can get and customers are very pleased, Like I said its all you need

I haven't checked it with a thermometer, its hot to touch at the wand and the results are there so I don't concern myself with it

14HP HX TM will run 170 plus with a 2 jet low flow wand and 150-160 with a high flow. Partner the machine with a rotary and you can clean most anything. It will take longer and take more dry strokes. 33 blower so nothing over 150' with the machine. But at 100' and a rotary it's a good little cleaning machine for the money.
