    Hopefully someone has done this.
Does it need to have the front panel removed, then slide it forward?

Or is there a better way?

Goasl is to inspect and repair an exhaust leak at the back end of the shell.

unfortunatley you have to pretty much disassemble the whole machine front panel aswell if i remember right...i usually charge about 12 hours of time to do the job...sometimes it is also neccassary to remove the blower to get to some of the bolts on the exhaust...its been a couple of months scince i last did one of those....but im pretty sure i had to remove the panel in the front..i have also saved some time by sawing off the machine brackets on the side of the machine itself...and then rewelding in the brackets after im done...its kind of cheating but...but...um..well...what can i say...nothing like letting a trade secret out of the bag once in a while....
