    maybe i worded it wrong

I guess i was trying to say to those who have equiptment, what works best what equiptment has the least issues. But if no buddy knows the answers to the questions i ask that is fine.

Its not that people dont want to answer your question i would suggest they really do not fully understand your circumstances.
What could assist you in your quest for answers is letting the members know what experience you have mechanically, and what your budget is. Other things that also may assist are what are you planing of doing, Carpet Cleaning, Upholstery Hard Surface Cleaning each of those or all of the above or something entirely different. Are you looking for a Truck Mount or are you preparing to start out with a portable.
The Members here are only too willing to assist any member seeking answers, so give them some details and i know they will spring into action for you.

Welcome to the Forum and keep asking questions.

Welcome to the forum Dave. You will learn a lot by hanging around here. LOL

I don't know a lot about Bane Clean equipment except for the fact that is is an "electric" truckmount system. In other words, I don't think any of their stuff is powered be gasoline/fuel engines. Most of the guys I see running Banes, have generators mounted on the back of the van/trailors to run the machine.

Sorry, I don't know much more about them. Maybe someone else can correct me or offer more information. Feel free to ask any questions because most all are very friendly and willing to help. This is a great site.

Bane provides excellent training and some marketing help. The equipment is way under-powered compared to main stream carpet cleaning equipment. Many serious carpet cleaners consider it a joke. But you can get carpet clean with a Bane unit. They work best if the hose runs are on the short side.

There are many successful companies hwo run Bane units. Others have started with Bane and moved up to other units later.

Obviously I have my biases. I am not a Bane fan. But tried to give both sides.

Th electric feature may be sued to market to those who are concerned about pollution, etc.

so what would be better to do

So if bane is not that great what would be better so that I do this right? Because I have about a year before I buy any equip., because the Army has me on orders for the time being.
