    Just wondering... could a female carpet cleaner bring in extra money? lol i could only amagine how many guys would wanna have a good looking female cleaning there carpets instead of a male... they might not even care how good of a job she does haha.... sorry if this thread is dumb to u.

    Yes I've seen two female techs. Let's just say the two I know of would not be bringing in any business based on looks.

    Well I am teaching a UFT class today and tomorrow and out of 23 people I think I have 10 women. So yes there are a lot of women in the field. I feel on average women make better fabric cleaners as most men hate it.

    Thanks Steve, I still think it is amazing that 3 weeks ago you were in a firefight in Afghanistan and now we are talking about fabric cleaning problems. Really puts things in perspective.

    A friend of mine has his married daughter work with him. He says when they get to a job she makes friends with the lady and tells her she will make sure I do the job right. Most of the time they gab while he works.

    My wife works with me and my brother Inlaw' s wife works with him. Our clients love to see the women with us. It makes them more comfortable and it gives our wives a chance to look at the $$$$$. Women are very through when they clean! We also have a local o/o that is a women!

    My wife went out with me once or twice when we first got married over 11 years ago. I made her rake apartments as I cleaned them and she hated it. Just by chance one of the jobs she was on with me was a massive dog diarrhea clean up. She hated that even more than raking. I don't think I could pay her to go with me now.

    I have seen 1 husban and wife team working in my area. I think the dude has a D.U.I so his wife drives him around in the van all day. They both look a little rough around the edges and neither of them would put me at ease working in my home!
