    I had a house this morning that had a hardwood hallway...
    The whole time I was doing it I was nervous thinking my solution hose was gonna burn off the clearcoat...
    Well it didnt but I was concerned for future purposes should I bring along some type of blanket or hose cover...

    Get yourself some drop clothes. Or the padded blankets the furniture movers, and furniture stores use when delivering their goods.

    There are hose wraps specifically designed to wrap around the qucik connects and protect floors from heat or scratching. They come on and off easily with Velcro.
